I’m going to share a word from a few years ago that seems to smack me in the face….in a good way.
But first…feel the pain of a widower missing her…..CAT.
I dropped Zulu off to my daughters as I head out to spend some time with my mom in Washington State.
Really crazy emotions…
Ok this thought…
The Key To a shift.., A word from hanging in the Vine:
I have spent many a morning reading about the favor of the Lord on a life.
It sure helps me amidst these days of pain, thoughts, and questions….
When the the frailty of my humanity collides with reality, I need a shift!
I get up some mornings and my body, my flesh feels all the stuff of my soul raging…, My mind, will and emotions….
I may feel grumpy, tired, achey, or simply not motivated.
But I have to tell you. Something awe inspiring happens when I get my hot cup of coffee and simply sit at the feet of my Vinedresser, my Abba Father.
It’s like a cold cup of water to a dry withering plant. I find life come back. The dreams are stirred. The hope comes alive. The purpose becomes stamped with the design of divine destiny.
So, it is so very easy to see how important and life giving it is to be connected to the Vine daily.
Go to the Word.
Rest to run.
Decree and declare what He says about you. Release some Glory over your life and others!
Rest to heal in the House of Wine, to run with the relentless love divine.
You are not destined to lack and misery. You are singled out for glory and favor. It’s who you are as a son or daughter of the King.
Rise up.
Shake off the fear laden pauper spirit and walk as a prince/princess in royalty of your King.
It’s who you are.
You are like a magnet drawing His favor everywhere you walk.
Watch the parking spaces open in the front of a store. Look for finding money in a pocket. Don’t be surprised by the checks in the mail or the promotion at work.
Shift happens! Good shifts!
No performance needed.
It’s all what you can experience connected in the Vine with a loving Vinedresser caring for you.
