Some days and times you may feel like your life is in the blazing sun, with it hot and you can’t see well as you walk through the Vineyard of your life.
You forget that there is fruit on the Vine but the seemingly defeats around you are blinding your eyes.
Then you wake up and hear a voice (message on your phone) of a friend speaking life over the very dearest areas of your life….Contending for the design of heaven against onslaughts of the minefield of your, at times, chaotic mind and emotions.
God has you.
He knows how to bring the Jonathan’s or David’s in your life (1 Samuel 18) These are quantum connections.
You covenant together to speak life to each other as a spark plug to God’s plan for your life. Their words confirm what Holy Spirit has already said to you. They are loyal and faithful.
Yes, some days you need Jesus with skin on. During these God anointed times, they robe you with the oil of prayer as they stand in the gap for you and those dearest around you. They become armor bearers to you and your spouse, fighting unseen battles in the spiritual realm, while consistently putting the pressure in the heavenly.
Yes, you can pray for this kind of friend and pray God sends you these type of friends.
Psalm 15 in the Passion Translation is one place I have prayed for the friends I have now and for “inner circle” anointed friends.
And then you stand back in wonder, tears and gratitude as God fulfills this in a way that only HE CAN.
Don’t go it alone. In community…even if it’s a few, there is destiny.
Kingdom is family. “Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.”
