Defeating the Saboteur Of Your Voice
Winning With Your Voice…that’s my thoughts for you.
I heard this word in a podcast that gripped me: the saboteur of your voice…
What is a saboteur…or the definition:
A saboteur is a person who makes a mess of a situation on purpose.

It was my favorite podcaster and coach Jasmine Star, talking to the epic entrepreneur Kate Cole about the saboteur of our voice and the mess it can cause.

But it’s like this.
⠀
Fear. Mental triggers. Anxiety. Trauma.
⠀
If left unchecked you end up with self sabotage.
⠀
How does this happen?
⠀
Personally, I know when I put pressure on myself…or maybe don’t get the encouragement I think I need…say for a new venture….I fight the voice saboteur.

I am presently going on a voice over learning career, alongside the Kingdom Mentor Academy..and I’m loving it…really really loving it.
⠀
You see, part of my story involves me as a kid pretending I was the priest or preacher…turning upside down apple carts to get on top of to preach!!
⠀
Now I open my apple computer and use it to help people find their voice, share their voice and yes, market their voice.
And I love this! I am seeing unleashed voices roaring in their lanes with true GRIT! (I’m going to do a podcast or two from these members of the Redeem Your Voice Camp)

So, I was thinking seriously about this fact that we often can be the saboteur of our own voice.
⠀
It’s like this…In my voice overs, I have to have a) the right equipment from mic to audio processor and b)the correct DAWS, software for my digital audio workstation.
⠀
If I push one of those dials in the wrong direction on my audio workstation, I can cause havoc with my voice. You would NOT like the sound and turn it off.
⠀
Or if I put way too much eq, compressor and other things for my voice…I would sound like I’m in a box or basement.
