I was not looking for a prophetic word for 2023. I was still trying to figure out the messes of 2022 and the onslaught of grief, trauma.
Toward the end of December I started to hear this word…Three days in a row.
BOOMERANG.
I took a few notes as I worked as a substitute teacher, aka Secret Undercover Agent For the Kingdom Of God).
My initial notes were simply this:
Unexpected boomerang. Sometimes it comes simply by:
1) Being grateful
2) Staying consistent in relationship (with God)
3) Believing God will turn things around
4) ACTION in faith to work with patience.
Then toward the end of the month this thought, from the overflow of my intimate place with Jesus and coffee, this word started to flow. You can click above for the complete word above or watch me deliver this on a rare Facebook live.
So how was your year?
I know for many of you it had your shares of delays, disappointments, stress, sorrow, grief and pain.
I am so sorry. I totally get that.
But will you do something for me. Will you listen to this word?
I really believe it’s not just for me but you too.
I have to say thank you to so many of you, whether in person, by phone or audio/text or Facebook/Instagram posts reached out in such profound ways this past year.
You supported Dave with finances for basic living in addition countless prayers. 
And…You helped me find life. I can see! Yes some of you reached again into your pockets and enabled me to have cataract surgery in BOTH of my eyes. I was close to being legally blind in my right eye. Wow! ..Did that ever help in the latter stages of being by Dave. It was so humbling to always ask for a ride.
So my heart is grateful even tho there are days of thuds and stifling grief.
And then after the passing of Dave, I got to visit my mom, take my kids to Connecticut (twice) and of course a dream come true visit to the beautiful land of Australia.
Special thanks to my friend Lynne (and husband DAZ) who let me stay with her the whole time with no pressure on me as I went through the deep feels and the trauma of my life. She invited another dear friend (Jody)and husband over, so I was blessed to meet face to face a gem over a dinner table. Jody has been on of those rare friends. She spoke deeply into my life with her amazing Holy Spirit fire texts and comforting audio/phone messages. All this…this over the last three years up to the ordeal with Dave.
Also special thanks to my ever so dear friend Lisa. She took me out to lunch, had long heart gut wrenching talks at her favorite coffee places, found gifts for my kids, and allowed me be a part of her family celebration of her husband’s birthday. She continues to comfort and speak life into those areas that are just too raw. Her words are a balm to my spirit.I have found family in Australia….
And across the media world of emails, Facebook, Instagram and even Tik Tok.
I realize I’m not saying much in this post about the word He gave me. Well, I had not a live or many podcasts. But the other day He said it’s time to use your REAL voice Theresa.So listen. I’m always an email away.
