Dream with God**Podcast #45
I had a dream the other night. I was in an auditorium where a “famous” minister was speaking. She started to minister in the crowd.
As I stood from my seating place, this lady who had been speaking came up my row and came to me. She put her hand on my head and said I had a wall there. Her word was NOT resonating at all as this lady was really judgmental. She made me feel small and feeble. I immediately told her I was seated in the heavenlies with Jesus.
“He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” Ephesians 2:6 tpt
She agreed with what I said about seated with Jesus, but still shook her head at me in disdain. She ended up touching a few more people and simply walked out the door of the auditorium leaving hundreds waiting for her “touch”.
So I woke up with this dream firmly in my mind.
Dream With God
I know you can dream with God and He can speak. So I eagerly discussed this with Father God the next morning.
Drinking my coffee I asked Jesus about this and if it was a dream with God.
Then I opened a book I had been reading like a devotional: Judy Franklin’s book…”Experiencing The Heavenly Realms.”
I start reading in this chapter about strongholds and she mentions a wall in one of her soaking times.
“If you recall, I mentioned earlier that when I first entered the beautiful garden I saw a wall behind the plants and trees. Looking at the wall, I kept thinking that if I wanted to go deeper in God I was going to have to scale that wall. So I kept looking at the wall, pacing along the length, sizing it up, trying to figure out how I could climb it. As I considered the wall, the Holy Spirit started to talk to me about strongholds in my life. A stronghold is a place where a particular belief or set of beliefs is strongly defended or upheld. I sure didn’t want strongholds of wrong beliefs in my life if they were keeping me from being closer to God, but I wasn’t really sure how to get rid of them. I didn’t even know what particular strongholds were in my life.”

I write all this to say that one of the biggest strongholds the enemy tries to keep you tied up and miserable is believing a lie about yourself.
I was able to lay my heart and ask Father God what stronghold was a wall keeping me from experiencing Him more… I am walking out of years of being spirit driven instead of fear driven. One thing I notice right off is God does not look at you or speak to you with disdain.
He is a loving Father taking you by the hand and walking your through the mine field of your strongholds. He gently lead me in the Word and I soaked in Ephesians chapters 1 and 2
He wants you free. And you can use these “tools” to walk away from fear, or any stronghold:
WORD OF GOD, the sword of the Spirit.
Heb 4:12
Worship: Confounds the enemy
Prayer…Focus on God not our problems.
“So then, my soul, why would you be depressed?
Why would you sink into despair?
Just keep hoping and waiting on God, your Savior.
For no matter what, I will still sing with praise,
for living before his face is my saving grace!” Psalm 42:5 tpt
Prayer and worship shifts our internal atmospheres to keep us seated in heavenlies.
Pray for other people..Intercession..
Ephesians 6:18
Embrace fruits of Holy Spirit knowing the spiritual affects the physical.
Galatians 5:22-23
Obedience is a weapon in beating fear. Your obedience matters in regards to yourself and others.
Job 22:30
Connections: Finding people who keep your heart in a safe place and speak life-truth to you. Pray for safe Kingdom connections to help you break free of empowering lies and speak to your true identity in Christ.
Dream with God: You can continue to ask Holy Spirit to speak to you to enable the truth about your destiny and to stomp on the lies of the enemy that keeps you bound.
