Can Suffering Dance with Joy

Can Suffering Dance With Joy?

The days of November are whizzing by…

Can I share? With a Vinedresser Word below.

I’ve had thoughts of suffering and joy a lot lately. Did a special Voice Camp on it last Friday just for the members with a candid look at what all I’m going through watching Dave heal from 3rd degree burns. (You have a limited time to jump in as I’ve opened VOICE CAMP during Cyber Monday week..Click here for more details)

Suffering. Joy.suffering dance with joy

In God’s Hand suffering has a purpose and the overflow is joy.

But first…think of joy as an integral part of your identity. Christ in you..The HOPE of glory.

But I know. Suffering sucks.

I often dwell on these verses…

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

So, you can use that suffering to experience God’s Presence like never before and then out of the reservoir you can splash that out on others…all the fruits of the abiding process.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:2-4

I have asked God to speak to my heart on this I won’t be consumed and pressed down amidst so many changes and sorrow.

He said this to me and He said I could share it with you:

“Dear child. I’ve seen your heart so smashed in pieces as you watch the extreme suffering of those closest to you and the craziness of others.

“Will you allow Me to stir in you simply a more hunger for My presence. In My presence comes the fullness of joy. You can use the exhausting suffering not as a heavy weight on your shredded heart but as a starting point to cry out for more of Me.

“I will make what looks like impossible, possible. I love turning your ashes into heaps of joy. I am not afraid to allow you to experience sufferings. Because as you press into Me in the quagmire, often the relief comes in your relentless faith and the glory of your testimony of Me.

“Remember. I am the God of all comfort. The comfort of my love takes away fear and doubt.

“Do you see it? Look with eyes of faith as I pour brightness into your new beginnings and more of My revelation. Let my love for you be the only solace place where you make room for My burning Presence, into the secret place of holiness.

“Your suffering dances mysteriously with the joy I put inside you. You are grafted into the Vine. That act involves wounding, a traumatic cut to fuse you into the Vine to grow.

“So My dear Child, look at this suffering as a vital yet brutal ingredient to learn the joy of abiding. We become friends here and My joy gives you the strength to persevere amidst the twists of your aching heart.

“So no strive in your suffering. Simply abide.
