Five Questions To Help You Shine With Your Voice

So I’m sitting here thinking of you and the thought of having a shine….So I go to an old familiar song by the Newsboys and now it is blaring out on my JBL speaker. (which I’m sure my sister-in law above is wondering what I am doing)

Well…I had this thought of you shining…

And these lyrics:

“Shine
Make ’em wonder what 
you’ve got
Make ’em wish that they were not
On the outside looking bored
Shine
Let it shine before all men
Let ’em see good works and then
Let ’em glorify the Lord..”

So I have discovered even in grief, struggles, anxiety, or any other wretched emotion, you can still shine.

Your voice is connected to heaven. So you have in your DNA the ability to hear God’s Voice…to help you find your true voice.

It’s a daily choice.

I was challenged to keep a bright light for the Lord amidst one of my darkest moments of my life.

I was reminded in a devotional that my gifts, (some came from investing in myself), talents that I may have been born with, spiritual gifts from God, personality, and other gifts God has given are of intricate value. He has intertwined Himself  inside which make me (you) truly special.

I’m excited to say no matter how you feel right now, God has wired into you God-given passions… joys…your ultimate pie-in-the-sky-high dreams and contentments.

So, with the help of this devotional I answered these questions…To help you too I thought I’d list them.

So get a pen and a piece of paper (or your Ipad like me who can’t read her own writing) and answer these questions..

What makes you feel alive?

What are your God-given passions, gifts, and talents?

What are your convictions?

What aspects of God do you most enjoy?

What makes you want to get up in the morning?

What do you think your God-given purpose in life is?

How can you improve your health this week: spiritually, physically, socially, mentally, and emotionally?

I’m slowly opening up these kind of topics and more to help you find your voice, share your voice, and market your voice.

I may be travelling through grief but I’m not dead. My spirit is alive. My voice is emerging even stronger.

Don’t worry friend. I will not go too fast. Coming up I have a visit to see my mom for 11 days as we travel with her husband to the beautiful Oregon coast. And…I have a (pie-in the sky -hope deferred no more) two month trip to Australia to hang with three of some of my dearest friends who God connected to me.  I’ve known these gems of friends the past almost four years of Facetime, texts, DM’s and zooms, but never face to face. (Don’t worry daughter Anna. They will not kidnap me)
