Thoughts for Mother’s day.
Give HIM your heart pain on Mother’s Day.
I saw this quote I made a while ago and thought of you:“One of your greatest fear may be you feel left out…. family or friend’s events. It’s really a misplaced obsession.
Fill up with His Presence. Stay grateful!!!”
Now that may do nothing for your heart if you’re in that place of wanting to see your children in person, praying for family restoration, or desiring real connections for friends.
I understand. I know what it’s like to wonder if God would ever move the boulder that seemed to block reconciliation in my family.
I remember feeling left out watching on social media all the family gatherings and we were not invited.
But I stayed thankful. And contended for His Presence amidst the shattering aches in my heart.
Just this year, with the back drop of Dave’s struggle with Pancreatic Cancer, I have experienced true turn around with reconnection with our children.
If you happen to just catch this post and miss my other ones sharing about Dave…Just know he is contending for his miracle amidst the pain of this kind of cancer and the twice weekly visits to the hospital to get drained as his liver has failed.
But God…..
So a but God word for you….
A dear friend, pastor, and Spiritual Father challenged me to write a Daily Devotion with some words from the Vinedresser.
I prayed for you…and asked Holy Spirit to use my pen to pour some fresh healing wine in a chapter from the devotional: “Listen To The Vinedresser: 360 Days Of Declarations In The Vine.
Here is one JUST for you friend.
Declaration:
Declaration: I trust you, Lord, to align me with friends who burn with Kingdom love and bring restored connections that make family real. You have the timing for restoration. You hear my prayers for my children and will bring them back to YOU and to my family.
Listen To The Vinedresser
“I am here, dear one. Put your arms up and let me pick you up and hold you as your heart aches from a stone thrown, an arrow shot, or a word that bruised. Give me the questions and aches that have turned into a festering wound gnawing at the depths of your soul wondering if “Family” is just a myth.
“Release this pain that has shattered your heart. Forgive and release those who have hurt you.
“My beloved, allow the beats of My heart to remind you I am close even when you feel lost in the coldness of isolation or crushed by betrayal in a relationship. Let me pull the arrows out and pour the oil of My Spirit in that gaping wound. The process may seem like it is slow but know the timetable is in My Hand.
“I am about relationship Child, not control or performance. This is not an inconvenience, but the foremost intentionality of my Heart for you.” Love the Vinedresser
So it can happen friend. One of the greatest words I heard that has brought profound healing after disconnection was when my 19 year old son and my 24 year old daughter said, “We need you. We need a mom in our life.”
I’m believing this for you. Family. Father At work Mending Irrational Yokes
Happy Mother’s day. Let Jesus draw you into His House of Wine and drink deeply of His love divine for you. (Song of Songs 2:4 tpt)
If I can pray for you, I am an email away.
