My Social Canvas is all about inspiring the women in our community to design the life they love even during challenging times in their life or career. Could you share a challenge you’ve overcome – how did you get through?
“Life is filled with challenges, that we wish we never had to face! And yet, it is through these challenges, that our strength, capacity, tenacity, grit and character are refined and beautified beyond anything we could have ever imagined.
“I have faced many challenges throughout the course of my life so far, and I am standing today, stronger than ever and more appreciative than ever, of the life I get to live.
“In 2013 my husband and I made the decision to gather our two children, and leave the very comfortable and ‘settled’ life we enjoyed in Australia, and move to NYC to pursue the dreams and calling over our lives.
“There was absolutely nothing easy about our life from that moment on. We faced obstacle after obstacle, and the levels of stress we endured were beyond intense.
“It was through these years, that I held tightly to my faith, reminded myself daily of who I was, and never allowed myself to become ‘hope-less’.”
