I read almost every day how people are feeling captive…captive to alcohol, physical pain, debilitating disease…captive in their own house…
I am so sorry. I understand that all of this can have more pressure to it amidst the days we live in.

In the midst of these times we are all walking with the issues of the virus and pressures. It can imprison you with fear.
I understand. And I’m so sorry. I honestly feel your pain. I miss seeing smiles. I went into the store this morning and saw all these masked people. My heart hurt deeply. I miss smiles and voices that speak clearly…not muffled.
Listen to this friend. I was rocked when God highlighted this to me with the word “captive”.
You still have a voice. You still can use your voice.
Check out 2 Kings 5. I never saw this before but it lit up like a firework show on the 4th of July.
You probably know the story. It’s about Naaman. Though he was favored by the King of Aram and a mighty warrior, he suffered…was bound by leprosy.
But check this out. How did he get help? By a girl from Israel who was captured by the Aramean raiders. This captive girl served Naaman’s wife. Though imprisoned she spoke out: “I wish my master would go to see the prophet in Samaria. He would heal him of his leprosy.”
Naaman took this captive girl seriously…and you know the rest of the story..He eventually was healed!!
So…even in the midst feeling bound, you too can still speak and see atmospheres shifted.
Your breakthrough on the inside of you is someone else’s breakthrough with you using your voice.
And remember…Jesus breaks every chain and can free you from anything!
