“When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come Hehere.” So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!”
“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “My Rabbi, ” the blind man said, “I want to see!” And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.”
Mark 10:49, 51-52 NLT
This is a short excerpt from the Kingdom Mentor Academy's Redeem Your Voice Camp where I gave simple keys to dream again and write it down.
Here were some steps to write out:
- Ask God...dream with Him
- Be clear about what you want HIM to do in your life
- Be specific...keep it to yourself.
- Be honest...don’t write what sound good or what you think you should write
- BE unfiltered and unhindered-throw up on your paper
- Write it down as you process with Him
- Clear detail not vague
- Picture it...dream it. Imagine as if it already happened
“Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV I added a quote from my friend Roma Waterman in her Book, Unlocking Creative Identity: Carving Your Angel in the Rock as part of this word in this podcast:“Your greatest enemy will stop you from dreaming so he can stop you from creating. If he can stop you from creating, he can stop you from having an impact on your culture.
A DREAMER IS A REVIVALIST A culture of revival is one that carries a dreaming mindset. American inspirational author, Orison Swett Marden, said it well: All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers. You may not realise it right now, but as an artistic dreamer, you are that revivalist.”
